The Legacy Solaris Network

The Solaris Systems are no longer available

All of you who had Solaris accounts have had those accounts moved to the Linux network. If you already had a Linux account, at least your mail and web settings have been moved. You can access this account via ssh/scp/sftp on the general-purpose Linux machines, listed above.

If you are used to using ftp (which is being phased out anyway), you should move to sftp instead. There is a command-line sftp program in most *nix installs, and it is supported by gftp (though it calls the protocol "SSH2").
